Board Members Present: Linn County – Les Beck; Cedar Rapids – Sandy Pumphrey; Marion – Steve Cooper; Hiawatha – John Bender; Linn SWCD – Bruce Frana
Others Present: Joe Horaney – Cedar Rapids/Linn County Solid Waste Agency; Jennifer Fencl – ECICOG
Call to Order at 2:09 pm
Approval of Minutes: Motion by Cooper, second by Bender to approve the minutes from August 12, 2015. Motion carried.
Final Indian Creek Watershed Management Plan: Fencl distributed the final printed copies of the Indian Creek Watershed Management plan.
FY16 Organizational Management Work Plan & Budget Update: Discussed the work plan and Budget for fiscal year 2016. The City of Marion has elected to provide their portion of the budget as in-kind staff time.
Establishing committees or advisory groups in implement the plan: Working on establishing the agriculture related group.
EPA Urban Waters Small Grant: The City of Cedar Rapids is applying in partnership with the Indian Creek Nature Center to develop water quality summer camps for disadvantaged youth. Motion by Cooper, second by Beck to provide an ICWMA letter of support for the project. Motion carried.
IDALS Water Quality Initiative Urban Conservation Projects pre-application: The City of Cedar Rapids is applying for retrofit bio-swales at various locations throughout the city.

Next meeting: The next ICWMA Board meeting will be in January with the date, time and location TBD.

- Marion is working on a possible wetland project as part of the Marion Trail through the former Marion Iron location.
- ISWEP is putting on several workshops locally.
- November 18th workshop for landscapers about topsoil and cost share programs
- December 9th workshop about SWPP and concrete washouts
- December 16th workshop about the Iowa Stormwater Management Manual
