Oxbow Restoration at Skyhawks Field in Cedar Rapids

The Indian Creek Watershed Management Authority (WMA) recently partnered with Cedar Rapids and The Nature Conservancy to restore an oxbow wetland at Skyhawks Field in Cedar Rapids.
Oxbow wetlands provide many benefits to the watershed, including habitats for wildlife, flood mitigation, and nutrient load reduction.
